Production Process

Guignolet is a liqueur made by macerating (soaking so as to extract or concentrate flavours) cherries in alcohol of agricultural origin.  It has a minimum sugar content of 100g per litre.  The name guignolet can be supplemented by the term ‘liqueur’.


Guignolet sold to consumers has a minimum alcoholic strength of 15% vol..
