Bitter-flavoured spirit drinks or bitter are spirits with a predominantly bitter taste that are produced by flavouring alcohol of agricultural origin with flavouring substances and/or natural flavouring preparations.
The use of distillate of agricultural origin is also permitted.
The spirits produced can also be sold under the name ‘bitter’ or ‘amer’, with or without another term.
