Production Process
Mistrà is a spirit drink flavoured with aniseed or natural anethole. Its anethole content must be between 1g and 2g per litre and it may also contain a distillate of aromatic herbs.
Natural flavouring substances and flavouring preparations may be used in the production of mistrà. But it must not contain colours nor have been sweetened.
Strength
Mistrà sold to consumers has a minimum alcoholic strength of 40% vol. and a maximum of 47% vol..
