Production Process
Sloe gin is a liqueur produced by the maceration (soaking so as to extract or concentrate flavours) of sloe berries in gin, with the possible addition of sloe juice. It has a minimum sugar content of 100g per litre and the name ‘sloe gin’ can be supplemented by the term ‘liqueur’.
